Corporate Christmas Management Team Activity
We are anxiously looking for something fun and creative the 12 members of management team could do at our company Christmas party this year. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you ever tried a Chinese Auction? It's really fun, and it won't take forever if you only have 12 people. Here's what happens. Each participant goes out and buys a gift. All gifts are put on a table, unlabeled, and everyone draws a number. This is where things start getting fun. The first person goes and chooses their gift from the table. The second person can either choose a gift from the table or "steal" the gift from the first person. Every person has this option, none is exempt from being robbed. Any time a person is robbed, they can then pick another gift (either from the table or from any other person). If anyone chooses any one gift 3 times, that gift is automatically their gift and safe from robbers. For example if Jane chooses a movie from the table and Joe steals it from her, Jane can steal it back. If Joe steals it from her AGAIN and she steals it back (making this her third time for choosing this gift) it is hers to keep. You can steal from ANYONE, it doesn't have to be the person directly before you in line. This goes on until all gifts are cleared from the table!
Did I describe that clearly???

So all the gifts are unwrapped and everyone can see what they are?

The time we played it they were... But I suppose you could wrap them *lol* It would really spice things up a little. The only problem I could see with that is people making sure they got the gift that they brought so they know they won't get something tacky *haha* It really was a lot of fun... We had a great group of people.

Thanks for the idea. I have used that gift exchange idea many times and it is alot of fun.
I am actually looking for something our management team can do as a group that is fun and lighthearted in front of the rest of the employees at the company Christmas part. We have approximately 300 people attending. Our CEO would like to have the mgmt team do something fun such as a take off on a dance group, or a fun rendition of the 12 days of Christmas....any creative ideas are welcome. There are 10 men and 2 women in the group.

OH! I'm sorry, I misunderstood. Actually there is a VERY funny song you could sing called the 12 Days After Christmas... It goes something like this:
The first day after Christmas
My true love and I had a fight
And so I chopped the pear tree down
And burnt it, just for spite
Then with a single cartridge
I shot that blasted partridge
My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.
The second day after Christmas
I pulled on the old rubber gloves
And very gently wrung the necks
Of both the turtle doves
My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.
On the third day after Christmas
My mother caught the croup
I had to use the three French hens
To make some chicken soup!
The four calling birds were a big mistake
For their language was obscene
The five golden rings were completely fake
And turned my fingers green.
The sixth day after Christmas
The six laying geese wouldn't lay
So I sent the whole darn gaggle to the A.S.P.C.A.
On the seventh day, what a mess I found
The seven swans-a-swimming all had drowned
My true love, my true love, my true love gave to me.
The eighth day after Christmas
Before they could suspect
I bundled up the
Eight maids-a-milking
Nine ladies dancing
Ten lords-a-leaping
Eleven pipers piping
Twelve drummers drumming - well, actually I kept one of the drummers -
And sent them back collect
I wrote my true love
"We are through, love!"
And I said in so many words
"Furthermore your Christmas gifts were for the Birds!"
Four calling birds,
Three french hens,
Two turtle doves
And a partridge in a pear tree!"
I'm sure you should be able to find a recording somewhere. I've done it, and seen it done, it's absolutely hilarious! Expecially if you can get everyone really into it :)
