Wedding On A Budget

I am trying to save money on my wedding, and the wines in the hotel are very expensive I was thinking maybe buying the wine and just pay the fee in the hotel to serve it. How much wine should i buy for 75-100pp wedding, and do you think it would be worth it, and I could save money like that? what kind of wine do lyou recommend red and white wine, I don`t know much about wine, but do not want to spend alot of money on it. Thank you

If wine isn`t a big deal to you, maybe you could just serve champagne, it`s a lot cheaper. I don`t know how much you would need to buy per person, but one trick I`ve heard of to save money, if you`re buying your own liquor, is to have your servers only refill the glasses when asked, since a lot of people won`t drink more than one glass anyway. Then you can return any unopened bottles after the wedding.

I think you can get about four glasses out of the average sized bottle of wine. I`d get a mix of white and red and blush. Everybody likes something different.

I`d skip champagne, though...I haven`t noticed it to be a favorite among people.
