WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM PLANNING A REHEARSAL DINNER AND MY QUESTION WAS: I WAS WONDERING WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO DO AT A REHEARSAL DINNER?

Eat, drink and be merry. Talk, maybe give a couple toasts. Perhaps the father of the bride or the couple themselves would like to say a few words. It kind of takes the place of an engagement party. Around here (central wisconsin) it`s very informal. You invite everyone who`s standing up in the wedding + their significant others and children and the minister. I want a backyard barbeque for mine, but I think no one will want to clean up the night before, so we`ll probably have it at a casual restaurant`s backroom.

You also invite all of your immediate family members and their spouses, including your grandparents (and your great grandparents if you still have them). Some people include out of town guests, but it`s not something that you are required to do. Also you will probably want to give your wedding party their gifts at the rehearsal dinner. The dinner can be as formal or as casual as you want.
