Dance

I don`t like to dance. Does there have to be dancing? There is a formal catered dinner and a string quartet playing.

Cass, I don`t care for dancing that much either. I did not have a dance at my wedding. We had only one musician and a soloist.

There`s no law that says you have to have dancing at the reception, especially if it`s not important to you. A nice dinner with music is plenty.

Not all receptions have dances. However, although you may not enjoy dancing perhaps most of your guests do. Catering to your guests preferences is important and expected for such a special event that you are hosting. Also, keep in mind that as the bride you won`t have much time to dance anyways (if you liked to) as you will be very busy mingling with your guests and thanking them for coming.

That`s just my two cents. Good luck on your day!
