50/50`s And Raffles??

Do people do 50/50`s or raffles are weddings?
I was wondering cause someone asked about doing them. So i thought i would see if people do do them.

I think a raffle is a fun idea for a wedding reception.

You mean where people would pay you a dollar for a prize? I guess it depends what the prize is, but I have a hard time shelling out any more money at a wedding than I already have to (plane ticket, hotel, rental car, gift, etc). Weddings aren`t cheap for guests, either.
