Unity Candle

I am having an outside wedding in August around 7:00 pm. It has been a tradition in my family to have a unity candle. I would also like to have one plus a candle in memory for my fiance`s parents who are deceased. What do you think about having candles lit for a special purpose for an outside wedding? I have been worried about doing the unity and memory candle because it is an outside wedding.

If you are worried about the candles being blown out by the wind, have them placed in glass holders. Also, place them in an area where they are not able to be knocked down accidentally, or where someone could keep a close eye on them. Candles at an outdoor evening wedding will be absolutley beautiful!!! Is that what you were worried about, or did I miss something?

Elizabeth,
I don`t know if you already have your set but I have an extra unity candle set that I need to get rid of.
The set includes, the pillar candle and two tapers. It is a white pearl (but even if your using ivory, it would look fine). The tapers have little pearl drops on them and the pillar candle has the same pearl drops plus some filigree and a small heart in the center.

Beth,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was worried about them being blown out by the wind. I wonder if it is hard to find glass holders for the taper set for the unity candles.
