Summer Heat

I`m getting married and the end of July and my reception is outside. Does anyone have any idea of anything that we could do so it`s not quite so hot? I know it`s kind of a weird question but any ideas would help. Thanks.

My brother got married outside. I don`t know what your theme is. His was kind of b-b-q,lobster bake combo.
We used kiddie pools with tons of ice for the drinks.One big tent (just the top, no sides) and a couple smaller ones scattered about.
Maybe you could also incorporate fans into it, so people could use them(paper ones).
