Rena Koh BEWARE

Beware of Rena Koh gowns. I know a few brides whose wedding are in the May and June and their gowns arent in yet and may not be in at all!! I found out through a friend in the business the Rena koh is not shipping ANY gowns to the U.S. Stores beciase of money problems with the U.S. Distributor in florida!! SO if you girls have ordered a Rena Koh gown, check with your shop and plan on a 2nd choice if your wedding is soon.

I am totally confused Tina? If a manufacturer has trouble delivering a gown or goes out of business or whatever....Full Service Bridal Shop owners are behind the 8 ball, because they don`t pay their bills, bad marketing, bad management or any other situation that may arise doesn`t mean that the FSB`s are not concerned about the customers. Shops that I know are very concerned and bend over backwards to do whatever it takes to serve their customers.

Your characterization of grouping all shops together is wrong and incorrect. If this is true then we can safely say that all girls who work in bridal shops are dishonest as well. Or every apple is always red. Or every nut is always brown. Characterization of groups, individuals in this country are the reasons we have racial, religous,, cultural , regional discrimantion in our country. Characterization of groups is what causes many problems in society.

It would be fair to say that every individual, group, or organization should always gather all the facts before spouting information and generalizing FSB`s and creating unfair accusations of other folks.

Take a course in your area about how to treat peo[le, as well as try to learn some ethical lessons and try to learn how communicate without slamming and charactierizing others based on your opinions.

I guess Tina hit a nerve with you shop owners?
Are you hiding something???????????
You must be since your attacks on the girl Tina exposed this problem.
If not for her, many girls would never had know. She may have done it in a sneeky way but brides had to be told!!

"I guess Tina hit a nerve with you shop owners?

That is interesting logic. Someone expresses concerns about negative, false implications being made and you think those very protests are evidence of guilt.

Would you be willing to accept such reasoning if *you* were unfairly accused of something, either directly or by innuendo?

"If not for her, many girls would never had know."

Your implications are an insult to many honorable people.

"She may have done it in a sneeky way but brides had to be told!!"

Brides ARE being told about the problems -- by the shops who are committed to serving them.

Why are you so quick to assume anything less?

Wow, All Tina did was say there was a problem with RENA KOH, not salons, did I miss something here? I have a friend who ordered her Rena Koh in January and was just informed that it will not be delivered because Rena Koh is no longer delivering to US salons, so her salon is offering extra savings on another gown. Seems to me that "Onlooker" is on the defensive for no reason that is obvious to me. Sheesh!

It sure seems to me the only so called full service bridal shops complaining about the woman who warned us brides look awfully guilty about something??
Why is that??
Are they hiding something or trying to pull something over the brides?
Or is it he designer?
Whats the real story here?
It`s bad enough that there is a David`s bridal selling their gowns (auggh) but now there is this with the so called real bridal shops!! I guess it really is "BUYER BEWARE" when buying your wedding gowns!

You can only know what you as a shop tell your brides, you do not know if every shop does the same as you.
Many brides have no idea about this problem and since they paid for the gowns they should be told of the problem at hand. We`re not blaming the shops we just want brides to be aware.

Some Brides have been getting their Rena Koh gowns in time for their weddings while some have not. Shops around the country have been networking together to help each other out while the owners of Rena Koh in China plays games. Unfortunately some shops are paying twice for gowns for their customers which means that it is cost them money!! There are some shops still passing off their stock gowns as which is not fair but most shops are working to get every bride their gowns at what ever cost. So brides to be just take the extra time and ask if your gown is a new one or off the rack becasue the honest shops will TELL you the truth. As far as Rena Koh itself many shops are now dropping this line from their stores because of all this trouble. Unfortunately the owner of Rena Koh (Raymond) has found an excuse to blame one person here in the US for his problems back in China. So if your considering a Rena Koh bridal for any future wedding, be very very wary of this deisgner because if the trouble he has put the US Bridal shops thru!!

Also, there is trouble brewing from another bridal gown designer from Austraila -

MAGGIE SOTTERO -- so again be BEWARE OF THIS DESIGNER.........................
