Should I Wear My Veil At The Reception?

I just bought a gorgeous elbow length veil with an attached headpiece. Do brides wear their veil all day (at the ceremony & reception)? I originally was going to wear a tiara and separate veil. Please share your advice or experience.

I think most brides wear their veils during the reception as well. However, some (myself included) are dettaching theirs after the ceremony because of the length of the veil (mine`s cathedral, 108").
But yours isn`t execptionally long so I wouldn`t worry about it.
In your case, since your veil is attached to your headpiece it doesn`t sound like you have much of a choice anyway.
However, if you really want to be rid of the veil after the ceremony, have a seamstress unattach the headpiece and veil, then put a strip of velcro on each piece. This way you can take off the veil without destroying your hair-do.

Do what is most comfortable to you!! There are no standards for wearing the veil. I know I want to stay in my dress as
L-o-n-g as possible!!! I am wearing my veil toward the back of my head, so I will keep it on since it isn`t in my way. Have fun and congratulations!
