GLASS BUBBLE BOWL CENTERPIECES
I`M HAVING GLASS "BUBBLE" BOWL CENTERPIECES. THEY ARE SORT OF LIKE "FISH" BOWLS ONLY A LARGER OPENING ON TOP. I WANT TO FILL THEM WITH EITHER COLORED SAND OR GLASS GEMS AND ADD VOTIVES.
I`M WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS USED ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THIS AND IF SO ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE GLASS & CANDLES???

I am doing something very similar. I am putting the same kind of bowl on the mirrors, then filling them less than half way with natural looking stones rather than gems because it seems to look more original. It is especially good for outdoor weddings. They sell them at walmart in the same place as the gems. Then filling w/ water and putting floating candles (cream color matches well) on top.

I also like the Aqua Crystals instead of the water and putting in a Floralight to make the crystals glow from within. That way you don`t have the candles burning out. A person can get a nasty burn if the candle floats to the side of the bowl and heats up the glass.
