Mail Order Invitations

Does anyone have any advice regarding mail order invitations. I received 2 catalogs (rexcraft & invitations by Dawn). Both have huge selections and very affordable prices!
Any advice, please?

Those are both popular magazines and quite safe to order from - no need to worry. I personally didn`t use either magazine but know tons of people who have and are quite pleased with the results.

Good luck.

How long does it take to receive them? Maybe you should go to an online company?

It looks like normal ground shipping...unless you need to rush it . I believe both catalogs have websites as well. And you can have a free sample sent . I`m just afraid to do it online...since I have no idea which site is reputable. These catalogs have a huge selection.

Although I am sure there are companies with a bad reputation, most of them are safe to use. I found my dream invite ($185/100) and spent some more time searching. I ended up finding a site that offered them for $75 less, and a full price website that price matched. I went with them because they not only matched the cheaper price, but also were offering $20 off of every $100 you purchased. I got the recept. And RSVP cards almost free with all of the discounts. And they came out amazing. Spend some time looking around for what you want first and then look online for it. Good luck

I did order mine from Rexcraft. They were beautiful. I ordered them online on a Thursay and by Tuesday afternoon they were on my door step via UPS and only STANDARD shipping. I did NOT do express shipping. They even threw in a few xtra invitations. I was very very pleased. The only bit of advice I would give is definatly order xtra outter envelopes. I messed up a couple and had to toss out some perfectly good invites because of no envelope. :)
Good Luck!

I also ordered mine online. I saw them at a small boutique by my house forst. Then I searched online and ended up saving over $300.00 no lie. We ordered on Friday and they were delivered on Wednesday Everything was perfect. That is true that you should order extra envelopes, but what we did was order 25 more invites than what we needed in case. And if you order them with your original order, there is hardly any cost, but is you have to go back and order them later you pay almost as much as your original order. Also NO returns so make sure you proofread over and over. We had my Mom, Sister, and future MIL all proofread before we hit the send button.

The American Wedding Album offers a wide variety of invitations and has a mail order catalog that is 100% user friendly. Representatives go over the order once it is received and are quick to call if questions/suggestions arrive. Once the order is placed into production you only have to wait 5-10 business days for it to ship! All printing is done on-site so there is no middle man. To request a free catalog or free samples of any card they have, just refer to their website.
