For Sale: Tiffany & Co. Lucida Ring

The ring is in pristine condition. The lucida is a beautiful cut: princess, with the corners lopped off. The stone has so much fire and sparkle! Platinum setting. Size 6.

Bought in 2000, the first year the Lucida was introduced. Carat=0.56 Color=F Clarity=VVS2

A real keepsake. Tiffany will also let you trade in this ring to trade up for a more expensive solitaire.

Original diamond certificate, "little blue" ring box, papers, etc. All included. Original amount paid was $6,100. Current value is increased, as the price of platinum is greater.

Does "F" mean flawless? What kind of $$ are you hoping to get from the sale?

"F" is the stone`s grade of color. "D", "E", and "F" are considered "colorless". "D" is the highest grade of colorless and then the range goes down the alphabet from there, becoming less colorless with each letter. As you can see, "F" is a very good quality color.

Tiffany & Co. Doesn`t carry a stone that is below "I" in color. For more information on Tiffany diamonds see this link:

I am looking to get at least 60% of the original cost of the ring, since the value has increased due to the high demand for the Lucida and the rising cost of platinum.
