It is a very beautiful place, But my wedding was a disaster there (09/00). Their electrical was wired backwards and fried our d.j.`s system. We had no music the entire time, they recommended the catering and although the food was excellent the service was bad. The bartender was making margaritas with malibu rum and pina coladas with tequila, the girl who was suppose to cut the cake didn`t know how and my mother in law had to do it.
To make it worse, my sister dispite my objection decided it was so beautiful she wanted to get married there (12/03) and had several problems herself, so much so my parents seeked advise from a lawyer.
This place may be extremely beautiful but be careful.

THe Boojum Tree is so beautiful, The Wedding Chronicle has decided to use the location for our cover and for a special fashion shoot in the July/August issue. It is a remarkable place for someone with a little imagination and not looking for a pristine hotel site. This has character and is romantic especially at night. --- Angie VanDaele, Publisher of The Wedding Chronicle (and they are not an advertiser and I have no financial arrangement with this locale).

Paul- Stephanie,
Although your critic of our company was not a glowing one I am very gratefull for your comments. I can not controll how the site operates or what happens at their hands during an event, but of course the service standards you mention concern me.
Unfortunately it is too late to do anything about your wedding. Paul, I wish you had brought your dissatisfaction to my attention as soon as possible, at that time the Boojum Tree was a new account for us and I am sure as with all events a service captain was present to handle any concerns if they were brought to our attention. Creations in Cuisine Catering employes well experienced staff, our bartenders are all trained to pour by state regulations and all have completed a bartneding course from locale bartending schools or have extensive experience prior to hire, all our staff is evaluated on a regular basis. I can not imagine at that time or at any time employing a staff member who was not familair with cutting a cake or ever sending someone to a job with out proper training for a catering event. All that aside I do offer my apologies as there is never a good excuse for poor service. My advise to any consumer is to speak up at the time so situations like this can be avoided asap. Stephanie I can understand your hesitancy to call us, but I assure you if you do your event will be handled form start to finish with the highest level of professionalism and my self or my business partner will act as your account reprentative, we have a ton of great references, please give us a try.

My sister and I just stopped in to look last Friday and I know I`ll book it for my March wedding! It is so tropical and green. The pictures on the web site only do some of it justice. Good luck!
