Cinderella Wedding

I am getting married with a cinderella theme. Does anyone have a cinderella money box for sale or maybe could make me one?

Please don`t take this the wrong way, but I would really advise against a money box/money tree/wishing well or anything along those lines. There are lots of threads on this site arguing back and forth on this point, but my personal opinion is that it looks greedy. People who want to give you money will give you money regardless of whether or not there`s a specific receptacle for it.

Heidi, providing a box and writing in your invites that there will be a box are 2 different things. I plan to have a box to put cards in (should people plan to bring some), but I too am adamant against putting anything in your invites about gifts. Having said that though, cards are small and can get lost (or stolen - as some people have pointed out) quite easily. Putting out a box so that they all stay in one place is not greedy, just smart. I agree though, please do not put that one will be available in your invites, just have one there for anyone who may want to use it.

Sarah is correct....you can have it there you just cannot request money! Having said that though no one has answered the poor girls question. I remember seeing on some site that they fashioned a castle, somehow using hat boxes. Try doing a google search for Cinderella Wedding items and see if anything comes up. They are out there though, because I remember previous discussions on them! Good Luck!

Perfect Glass slipper pillow box for your Best man to hold your ring in till your Groom lifts the glass slipper tolid and takes your ring out and slips it on your finger during the ceremony. Symbolizes the prince with the glass slipper. Http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4168002163

Many people like to give cards so that you can do what you need to do. So, I used a beautiful old bird cage, turned white (shabby chic) and added some beautiful flowers. Took out a few grids to drop cards inside.
As a guest, though, the money thing....Much like your topic today, I`ve never gone for. Even the whole dollar dance seems a little distasteful. Your invited guests have already brought you a gift. So, unfortunately, I never get a dance with the groom, because I don`t bring any cash to the wedding, ...that`s sad!

Have a magical wedding.
