Don`t want anything Valentines looking! Help!

Navy and silver look quite elegant together.
Perhaps cranberry and cream? A deep purple (I went to a wedding a month ago and the bride had her BM`s in deep purple and it was spectacular -- the flowers that went with the dresses really looked fantastic).
Black and white could be fun and elegant.
Just a few suggestions...

WOW! My wedding date is also Feb. 26, 2005. I had a hard time choosing colors as well. I am wearing an ivory dress, so it was hard for me to choose "wintery colors" for my bridesmaids. The typical color is silver, but I thought that would clash horribly with my dress! So, I have decided that my b/m will be wearing a deep grape. The color really accents my dress, and my b/m`s are happy to wear a slimming color. Plus, ivory and grape really do look great together. I was a little weary at first, but after putting them together, I am quite happy with my choice. My snow angel (instead of flower girl) will be wearing grape with ivory wings. I hope this helps!

I am having a wedding in Jan. Of `05 and I was hoping I could get some help with bridesmaid dresses. I have thought about black alot but recently I hav been thinking about having a winter wonderland theme. Is black going to look bad with that? What does silver look like on the girls?? If you have any suggestions I would appreciate and pics would be a great help!!!!!!!
Thanks

Now the real question - how to find bridesmaids dresses for a winter `05 wedding now, in may of `04. My colors are ivory and plum, but finding a not-ugly, not-strapless bridesmaids dress in plum is turning out to be a trick.
