Wedding Decor Tips
Hello,
I`ve recently purchased 90 inch wide white fabric to use at my reception site. I plan on having a ceiling canopy. I like the look of wide panels in the ceiling. The ceiling is 15 feet tall and is a drop ceiling. Does anyone have any suggestions on ways I can hang the fabric so that it looks elegant. I would also like any tips or special techniques which will save me time as I have to do this the night before the wedding.

Try some artificial (silk) green ivy, use it with the ties to hold up the fabric. I have seen this done before, its very beautiful and elegant.

I would just drape it in a lower arch type position and tack or have long rches across the whole room so it sort of billows. I need that wide of material where did u purchase it and how much and is it silky or what?

You can buy the material at any fabric store, or lots of craft stores. I know MJ Designs sells fabrics, including white tulle. MJ Designs carries lots of things for wedding decor. Including silk flowers.

I purchased at a fabric store in Toronto. It is called crystal organza and is more expensive than tulle and drapes much nicer. It`s 3 meters wide, which is not carried by most stores. Let me know if you want the name of the store, I`ll try and look through my receipts. The puchase price was 15 per meter.
