Wedding Themes
Does anyone have any ideas how to incorporate irish tradition and art into a wedding? Our idea was to have a irish wedding blessing read, use irish toasting glassing and cake cutting stuff, then have the table names famous artists-but is that too much? Sometimes I think is sounds good, other times I think people will be confused? Thanks!

I don`t think its too much. I don`t know if people will be confused or not. Some people don`t recognize things from other cultures, so they may not realize what it is all about. If you and your fiance are Irish, however, they may understand that its a tradition from your country.

I do not think it will be too much. When I first started planning my wedding I really wanted fans and since I will be joining the Air Force before I am married we will be incorporating both in our wedding. My bouquets, invites, guestbook, ringbearer pillow will be fan shaped. My caketopper will be something military(trying to find a bride in uniform), I will be marching down the aisle to the AF theme. Rest of details aren`t planned yet.
I think combining things that are who you are makes it more personal and a lot more fun!
