IM PLANNING MY QUINCE ON A BUGET AND I REALLY DONT HAVE THE MONEY FOR A DJ OR A BAND. MY PLAN WAS TO JUST HAVE LIKE A LIL SOUND SYSTEM IN THE BACK AND MAKE A BUNCH OF CD`S WITH MUSIC ON IT. A COUPLE PEOPLE HAVE LAUGHED WHEN I TOLD THEM THIS AND I REALLY CANT SEE WHY. AM I BEING CHEAP? HELP ME PLZ!!! WB.

DJ`s cost alot of money but dont stress it too much your idea is cool dont let people laugh its cool.. But do it like the mexicians get a god father and godmother for the cake the DJ and other stuff so they will be paying for the dj not you its cool .....I didnt do that for my sweet sixteen but i heard people do!!! Talia, you are not being cheap. Some ppl just cant afford a dj. What you can do is get a guy friend to play the music back there so it looks a tiny bit more professional than just a cd player sitting in the middle of nowhere. Maybe set something up back there...idk.
