Wedding Programs On Fans
I am looking for a company that will print my wedding program on a fan for my summer wedding. I don`t want to kill my budget doing this...anyone have ideas?
Thanks, Logan

It should be easy to make fan-shaped paper, or buy fan paper. Should not be too hard for them to print the wedding programs on these. That is, if they know what they are doing. You could try Kinko`s or Pip Printers. I think printing the wedding programs on fans is a great idea, too.

I saw a victorian website where they have fan-shaped cards that are decorated on one side. You could use the blank side for the wedding program. But I don`t remember the website, do a search under "Victorian fans" and see what comes up.

Yea, I saw that website, and actually went ahead and ordered a sample. They are perfect...except that I have 200 guests coming to my wedding, and paying that much per program is just not in my budget!
I`m working on figuring out a way to do something similar on my own!
Thanks! Logan

I ordered a free sample from bridalprograms.com. Forget -me not and we are using it as a guide and making them ourselves. They wanted 4.00 each and we also have a 200 guest list, way too much money!
I am getting married in October but my theme is fans and I thought these would work great. I also used the sample as a pattern to make my ring bearer pillow with.

I found a website today that does wedding fan programs. The website is http://www.custom-programs.com/ They are $3.50 ea, but because it serves a dual purpose for me (favors/wedding programs), I think it`s cost effective.

I`m still working on the wedding fans...I love the idea of programs at customprograms.com. They fan out and each panel contains different information. I`m trying to see if I can get something similar or make my own.
I`ll let you know!

I got married last year outdoors in St. Petersburg, FL and I had my programs done on a fan. They were well done, beautiful and everyone loved them. The person to speak with is Nikki. Her web address is address listed below. She is wonderful and works with you all the way through. Tell her Hopie from New York recommended you.

Could you make them yourself? I am going to make mine. Just hop on the computer, and play around. You can use Word or Powerpoint or buy an inexpensive version of Print Shop. Just keep experimenting with where you want the info to appear. Then print and cut out a fan shape with scissors. When you`re happy with the layout, buy some high quality paper (Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc.), wooden tongue depressors, adhesive (there`s a spray glue that should work well) and lots of pretty ribbon in your wedding colors. Good luck. If all else fails: now-and-forever.com

Logan,
This is the fan idea I actually copied to do myself. Once you get your template made on the computer. You can just photocopy however many fans you need. Then get your bridesmaids and friends to help you cut them out. (Lightly trace an outline on the back of the paper or put a stencil ontop of the fan and cut around it if it is 2-sided.)

Logan,
I found it! Here are better step-by-step directions for you and anyone else out there that wants to try this. I haven`t tried it yet, but how hard could it be??? (Famous last words . . .)

You can easily make them yourself. I went to a wedding last year and this is what they had...they were a novel idea.
