Victorian Civil War Style Wedding Dress Desir
Help! There are so many web sites but I still haven`t found ones where they sell wedding dresses that would be typical for the 1860`s and a Civil War wedding. No time to sew....At this point,Victorian styles may be the best way to go.What do you think?

I know how you feel, I wanted that theme as well since my FH is a BIG Civil War buff and I couldn`t find anything either. Victorian is a very beautiful era, mine is semi-Victorian with a few twist. Good luck!

Jeanne, Victorian style wedding gowns were popular in the 1970`s. It may be difficult to find a brand new gown that is in the Victorian style. You might want to consult a seamstress, or think about getting a vintage gown. Or, you could do a search under "Victorian wedding gown" on the internet.

Next weekend my fiancee and I are going to Gettysburg for the license. While we are down there I will be meeting with Maggie Ward who runs the Brafferton Inn in Gettysburg and is getting into rentals. She may have something for me. But I am still looking at styles for a semastress on line who said she could also help.
