Linda,
For flowers we are having Gerbera daisies for the ladies (Brides bouquet & 3 BM`s), boutenneries are Fressia (10 of them for the men), Larger freesia arrangement for the Mothers corsages (3 of them), and a flower ball of small daisies for my flower girl (total $350, my friend works for a flower wholesale company and is giving us a good deal, but I haven`t used very expensive flowers either). We also rented flower pedistals for the church and will bring them to the reception hall ($50).
Our photographer is $1000 for the "getting ready", Formal photos and the ceremony. I am not having him at the reception because it too expensive. Friends and family can do a great job of your candid photos. (this price does not include having the photos printed).
My brother in-law is a video nut and he is videoing everything for us for free.
Invites we got for about $450 (had a small company print them for us, but we saved money because we had to assemble them ourselves. Glued inserts into the covers etc.).
We are not having favours.
And we are not having a wedding cake because we get a full dessert buffet with our dinner and why spend $300+ on cake!.
Hope this helps.

For three abstract, organic bougets (full of a variety of flowers) four boataneirs, one arrangement and two corsages. - 150.
For a wonderful photographer( three hours of service, two photographers at my ceremony, engagments picutres, and 70-100 proofs) - 550.
I am not having a reception, but for the rehersal dinner cake to feed 35 (with poured chocolate and three pounds of strawberries). - 65.
For seal and send invitations from Rexacraft for 75 - 150.
For fifty picture frames with an engagement picture in each, varring in size - 100.

My wedding is on a budget, but I am loving every decision I have made so far. You really don`t have to spend alot of money for quality stuff. The biggest thing that has saved us money is looking around. My favorite baragin was my wedding dress by Jessica McClintok, on sale for $142!!! Good luck on your wedding!

Don`t I feel cheap, lol. I am doing my whole wedding for under $500, not including the dress in which I am still searching for. I could not imagine spending 10`s of thousands of dollars for my wedding, of course if I had the money I Definatly would.

I bet you guys are going to have some beautiful weddings.

I spent around $2000 for everything, dress, tons of decorations, plants, tables and chairs, cake(250.00) You don`t have to spend alot of money you don`t have or will regret later. I bought alot of things on-line. The wedding and reception will be beautiful and I saved alot of money.
You can get some things at the dollar stores, bigg lots, decorationg stores. Just shop around for good deals. It`s just a little more time consuming but worth it!
Hope that helps!

Flowers/decor--$40 (ebay, walmart, big lots)

Video/pics-- $45 (I used to model, so my old
Photographer is doing it for cost of film)

Invitations--$12 (My mom is a "Stampin Up" rep, so we just bought the cardstock and vellum from a craft website and made them ourselves)

Favors--$36 (honey sticks from ebay, glassine envelopes from weddingtulle.com)

Cake--$100 (Publix--some people shudder at the idea of a grocery store cake, but my FMIL owns a restaurant and my FH is the chef, anyway, they do A LOT of wedding receptions, so he has sampled wedding cakes from all over this part of the state and he swears that Publix has the best cake.)

Dress--$10 ( It`s not a typical wedding dress, but it looks the part and it was the only thing I felt comfortable in. I found it at Ross on sale. Deaprtment stores at the end of prom season are a good bet as well. My best friend got hers from Belk in June for $40 and you NEVER would have known that it was a prom dress.)

Flowers--$600. I was able to cut the cost by having my b/m`s carrying candles instead of bouquets.

Video/Photography--$2000. This was an area that I did not mind spending much on! I wanted to have beautiful memories for a lifetime.

Invitations--$1000.

Favors--$70. I am having white chocolate rectangles with an "H" engraved on them. They will be sprinkled in gold dust, and wrapped in plastic with our name and date on the wrappers. Cheap, flavorful, and cute!!

-Photographer 1550 (5 hours of photos + printed album and cd online of every photo, but not printing costs for photos.)
-venue (for ceremony and reception. On a sunday and before rates change. If you are flexible with your date, look at seasonal rates for your venue) 856
-dress 360 (don`t feel bad about looking at the clearance racks. The bridal stores should feel bad for jacking up the prices on anything that has the word "wedding" in it, and they are glad to make any sale. Also, places like ross, fashion shack, etc, are great places to look for dresses. It is surprising once you actually see what`s out there)
-catering - heavy horsedeuvres and carving station, 4 servers, and serving for the champagne toast (that`s the only alcohol we`re having which has saved a lot, and honestly, i didn`t want to have to worry about anyone driving home and getting hurt or crowd control on my wedding day) 2,200 (for 100-150 people) (ask the caterer to make you and the groom "to go" plates/baskets before the reception because most people don`t end up eating, or by the time they get to the food, their favorite chosen item is gone)
-Bridesmaid dresses (they paid for them) 140 each
- honeymoon - not set in stone. Looking to be between 3-4000, but it is a costa rica weeklong all-inclusive vacation
-haven`t done invitations yet. Going to use Office Depot
-Haven`t gotten a cake. Going to use Publix.
- Friend doing hair.
-Minimal jewelry
-no veil
-planning on wearing sandals
-planning on minimal flowers, something we can do $500 or less while still looking nice, probably potted on table instead of cut so we can plant them at our new home and fresh flower bouqets- (getting bright bridesmaid dresses adds to festivities, and you can use their bouqets as centerpiece at reception because who wants to carry them around anyways)
- also, look at some valentine`s day clearance things, like rose petals. They will be much cheaper after valentine`s day than a "wedding" section aka "we`re going to make this more expensive section"
