Lion King Wedding
I am a huge fan of the movie Lion King. I even have a Lion King room in my house. I would like to encorporate something to do with the Lion King ie: cake topper etc. In my wedding but I can`t find anything that is Lion King wedding theme..Does anybody have any suggestions?..thanks :-)

You won`t be able to find Lion King items at wedding stores or bridal places. You will need to go to the Disney store to find these things. You can get a Lion King figurine and use that as a cake topper. You could also find lots of Lion King things on eBay that you could order.

That`s such an original wedding theme. For other cake decorations, check the local bakeries for Lion King cupcake picks or decorative plastic cake accents. Check out their selection book under birthday cakes. Scour eBay, thrift stores, and yard sales for lion king happy meal toys to combine with silk flowers for a nice cake topper.
For even more fun, have a general african safari or jungle theme. Use accent table clothes or ribbons that have cheetah, tiger, zebra, palm trees, or palm leaf print. Use lots of potted palms (I`ve found some at wal-mart for 10 bucks each) in your reception. For fun, decorate with plush animals like snakes, tigers, lions, elephants, etc. Red roses with orchids in an asymetrical style would be a great exotic bouqet.

Tiger lillies (orange flower) are very exotic looking and would go well with the Lion King theme.
