Inside Envelope Address

Is it still considered correct to address a wedding invitation to Mr. And Mrs. Ralph Jones and the inside envelope: Mr. And Mrs. Jones?
I think that "Ralph and Louise" on the inside envelope is too casual for a wedding......even for family members. Am I old fashioned?????

I could be wrong here, but I do believe that the inner envelope should have the specific guests names on it -- thus "Frank and Louise" would be correct. The outter envelope should be as you stated for sure and I`m 99% certain of the inner envelope.

If you really want to be sure, go onto an invitation website or call one of the invitation catalog numbers and find out. Or try any bridal magazine, they usually have an article or two about invitations.

Good luck!
