Help!! The Only Gifts That We Need Is Cash

I am getting married on oct 5 of this year. My fiance and i are having a small wedding of about 30 people. We already live together and have everything we need as far as dishes and etc. What we would like to receive is money as our wedding gift. What kind of wording should i use on the invitations. I don`t want to be rude.

All I can say is that people who ask for money specifically in their invitation do not get a gift from me. Times may be changing but it is still tacky!

I would not want to give a cash gift either. Especially if I did not know the bride & groom very well. I`ve been invited to weddings of people I did not know that well, and it made me feel like they were just trying to get more gifts by inviting all these people they barely knew. I would bring a nice gift, but saw no reason to fork over 50 or 100 dollars to total strangers.
