21 And Still Single I Need Help

Hi, I`m 21 and have had only one boyfriend back in my freshman year that lasted 3 months. I didn`t like him because stalked me and scared me. Anyways, I moved here to Fort Worth about 3 years ago. I have lost contact with all my friends after graduating from high school. Now I attend a jounior college. I have gotten to the point to eventhough I my family close, I feel alone. What I want to know is how do you know if a guy likes you and how to find the right guy. Sometimes I think that many of the guys that I talk to like me but I think that they think that I have a boyfriend or husband. I am the eldest daughter of my family so I don`t talk to my family about these types of things. Can anyone help me. Is there any type of advice that anyone could give me? Please help.

All I can say is don`t stress about it. I am 26 with 2 kids and a good fiance, but if I could do it over again I would enjoy the single life a little longer. I was 18 when I had my first son. Don`t get me wrong, I love my kids more than life itself but sometimes I miss being single and not so responsible.
Go out with some girls from school and see what is out there. Or take up a sport or hobby that includes a lot of males.
I just happened to meet my man through my cousin and we have been together since we were 17.
You have plenty of time to meet somebody.

Thank you for your advice Brandy. It helped me realize that it is not so bad being alone some times.

You are welcome. Just think of it this way, when your friends are asking for "permission" to have a girls night out, all you have to do is get ready and go, nobody to answer to. Especially if you come home later than you planned to. Who cares if you close the bar and then go out to breakfast, you won`t have to try to convince some stupid man that you really where out with the girls until 4 or 5 am! Have fun and enjoy yourself!
