Why not have the girls in different colors dress like light purple for one light yellow then light green, Maybe?

Hello Ladies
I has a July 25th 2003 wedding. We had "Christmas in July" My girls had red dress (two piece with all different tops. My flowers were dark red and red roses with berries. The girls carried red roses with dark purple, greens and red berries. The groomsmen had green wreaths for bouttoniers and my husband had a single red rose with a few berries. As favors we had heavy red mercury ornaments with a ribbon saying Tessa and Michael christmas in JUly. We also had our cake different layers of stacked presents. The centerpieces were victorian cherubs holding large glass bowls filled w/ water, roses and floating candles. THEN, we cut down a large REAL christmas tree and put fake presents under it...

I work with about 15 brides/couples a week from May to October, planning weddings outside and on the beach and Bay, at golf courses and restaurants.
I try to gently assure each bride that she should close her eyes, and allow herself to picture in her mind, what her dream wedding would look like ~ then to email me with those ideas, so I can help work it out to her and her groom`s satisfaction. In your case ~ write it down!
When a well meaning `mother or other` tries to press their opinions of what THEY think is right for you, you will have your `dream wedding` list to show - and ask for ideas and help making THAT happen for your wedding.
Today`s ceremonies are as varied as each couple and their personality. So feel free to create what feels right for YOU.
If I can give you any ideas, please feel free to ask. Winters are my slow time, as we plan for the new year`s wedding season.

I would suggest that you stand you ground. It might cause tension but you`ll be happier in the long run. For every other person it’s just another wedding. For you, this is the special one in a life time event that you`ve dreamed of since you were a child. Someone was pressuring my cousin to have her wedding in a certain way. I know this might sound rude, but she basically told that person that if she wanted those ideas so badly, she should go get married and incorporate them into her own wedding!

I can only wish you God’s blessings at this time and hope that whatever the outcome, your wedding will be what you’re always pictured.
