Help With The Perfect Pair/Pear Theme

Hi I am using the perfect pair/pear as my theme. I was hoping there were some good unique ideas floating around out there. I am using pear shaped candles wrapped in tulle to give as reception favors but other than that I`m stumped. Please help!!!!!

Also you could serve pear flavored punch, and have a fruit and cheese tray with lots of sliced pears, for an appetizer. The groom`s cake could be in the shape of a pear. You could have pears on your wedding programs.

I am not doing a pear wedding, but I think the idea is a great one. I saw in one of my bridal magazines an idea for pears. For the place cards at the reception, they printed the names on cardstock and pinned (with a straight pin) the names to beautiful green pear. I hope this helps a little. Good luck
