David`s Bridal Complaint Station
There is a specific dress at DB that I really love for my bridesmaids and was looking it up online. As I looked up DB in the search bar, it brought up a compliant station for DB as well. I thought there were a lot of complaints on here, well that site kinda takes the cake on them. Of course there are some defending DB which is fine but I don`t think I have ever heard so many people complaining about the same place EVER!
I really like the dress I found there, I found something similar in a dept store but not the right color or sizes so I am thinking of going to DB and getting the dresses from there.
I have only been in there twice, and didn`t have an appointment either time so if I didn`t get the service I was excpeting I guess that is my own fault.

I just wanted to tell you that I had the BEST experience with David`s Bridal in Madison, Hts, MI. I was so leary about going there in the first place and wanted to stick to a smaller boutique. However, I did make an appointment and found a dress. I got a thank you card a week after from my bridal consultant and a follow up phone call about 2 weeks after that. I can see with such a large volume operation that problems may occur, but I had a positive experience.

Not only can ANYONE post here (even the jerks and ingrates) they just don`t edit and manipulate the messages here...that`s why you see raw info here. Wake up and realize you are fed everything you read at other sites and they decide exactly how it appears and sounds. This board is FOR YOU so you really should talk trash about it. I`ve made many a great connection here, more than I can say for ANY other message board

I`m not hear to bash or boost David`s.
I just wanted to give you an idea that worked for me.
I found my bridesmaid dresses on the Alfred Angelo website. The dress there was about $150, then if the dress didn`t fit perfect alterations ($50-$100) would have to be made.
Anyway, the Solution: I blew up a picture of the dress and took it to a local seemstress. She is making the EXACT dress, except she`s adding more beading, for only $135!
Basically, what I`m saying is if you`re too afraid of DB check out having the dresses made.

I am not bashing or boosting either. I am stuck in the middle.
Like I have said on other post, I haven`t had the most courteous people greet me or anything but as I said earlier, I never had an appointment so I don`t expect people to stop what they are doing and take care of me. I still have another 2 yrs before I get married so I am in no rush, I just really like the dresses they have, they are style 4456 and matching JB100. Maybe I will take my chances. I always like to give people and places the benefit of the doubt so we will see. Unless I find something I like better!
