Is it not proper etiquette to have the people at the bridal shower also at the wedding?

Yes, those guests who are invited to a shower should also be invited to attend the wedding.

Yes, if they are invited to the shower, they most definitly should be invited to the wedding. To do otherwise is very poor etiquette.

Having said that, you do not need to invite all women to the shower that will be attending your wedding.

Yes, i agree those invited to the shower should be invited to the wedding. What about shower invites, is it rude to state "bride registered at Jc penny and monetery ???
