Invitations

My colors have been selected I`m going with ivory, wood violet, plum, with silver accents. I`m looking for invitations and all the ones I like come in white only. Is it bad for me to send out white invitations or is it best to stick with my color scheme?

Also how what is the proper way to explain we want an "adult" only reception?

T Boogie. You can find purple hues in wedding invitations. They may not be the "exact" shade of violet you are looking for. But they will still work, in my opinion. Nobody would notice if the shades of purple don`t match up.

HI Tb

Agree with other post. But to add for another idea, paint the colors you want to use maybe one or two on your white invites (artist paint). Not much money or alot of time depending on how many guest your havng.

Or find ribbon with your color/s and glue them on the invites unless you just want to continue to search for the ones you want and you`ll probably spend more than what you may want for the store brought version.

Hope this helps!
