Traditional Church-Style Wedding

I`m just curious, how many people are going to get married in a church, then have the reception there in the church also, either in the foyer or the basement. Rather than re-locating the guests to another place for the reception.

I will be getting married in a church and having the reception in the church hall right across the street immediately afterwards.

OK. Thanks for the info. I haven`t seen too many weddings lately where they have it all at the church, but I know that most weddings used to be done this way. At least the ones I attended. It seems more convenient for the guests, too, they don`t have to travel anywhere for the reception.

I`m getting married in my church where i was baptised and confirmed and then having dove releases outside my church which i think is beautiful and then a very elegant reception at a grand ballroom, my wedding will cost alot but i would not have it any other way, life is too short to have a simple wedding.
