Thoughts On A Member

Yah for Maddie! She tells it like it is. I personally had not paid that much attention to her, so I went back and read her thoughts to the young woman who posted "marring young", and I find her to be honest. Sometimes the truth hurts. Get over it!

I think that the thoughts that maddie typed are rude and uncalled for.

I think there are a lot of rude and judgmental people on here. Did you read the post about it. I think whoever wrote that was 100% correct. It is Rude and Judgmental, dated a few days ago. I read it though I didn`t respond. People are asking for an opinion, not to be put down. And I think teh girl that wrote that post wrote perfectly fine sentences. It was basically how I was taught in my business english class. Not that I use it on here but anyhow. I agree with you on this one.

Not everyone is a blushing virgin when the walk down the aisle these days. But even in previous centuries, lots of women (and men especially ) were not virgins when they got married !! You don`t have to be super young, or never married with no kids, to be entitled to have the big wedding of your dreams. If you want a wedding you can have one. Nobody is "perfect" or has a perfect life on their wedding day. Its just not realistic.

Although Maddie isn`t necessarily politically correct in some of her posts, she has pointed out some faux pas made, or almost made, by some brides. She`s just a bit too abrasive for most people`s tastes.

So many people post things on this site that are ridiculously foolish (ie, the immature girl complaining about her mom not footing the bill for her wedding, those who get all worked up because they asked for money on their invites and don`t like hearing it`s not proper etiquette) that they are opening themselves up for ridicule. What I noticed most is that when people post something looking for feedback and they don`t get the feedback that they want, they get angry.

The reality is, most women are catty.

I think a variety of opinions is what makes any message board a good place to be. If we all agreed, this would be boring. Some people are just more angry and bitter than others. I find it highly entertaining and amusing.

Don`t take anything seriously, and let people speak their minds.

I have no problem with people speaking their minds either I just think that they should do it in a polite way. Maddie does not do that. She is rude and makes fun of everyone on here for the way they spell or put together sentences and she doesnt all ways do it the right way.

Kay, you are right about that!! Most women are just plain old catty.

Actually Maddie writes very well and articulates her point. However, she`s rude and offends some people. Her initial point is often right on, but then she unfortunately gets a bit mean. She`s an excellent writer though......
