Ivory/white roses would look beautiful with a blue ribbon tied around them and maybe some blue little beads mixed in the bouquet. Talk to a florist. They will usually give you a free meeting with no obligation to purchase from them.

You don`t have to use roses. Hydrangeas and irises come in blue. There are lots of varieties of blue flowers.

Hello there my cuz had light blue for her wedding and she had daisy`s as her flower and other pink daisy`s in with them but you can have other flowers in there that may blind in with that color or even bring other colors out that are in your wedding.

Hi,
I don`t know if you are planning to use real or fake flowers but I chose periwinkle blue for my colours and then bought fake raindrop roses off ebay. I got 84 roses for $10.95 US plus shipping

I`m having a blue wedding and I`m going to use blue hydrangeas and either white roses or white tulips. However, they do make blue roses. There are a deeper royal or navy shade. I`ve seen pictures of bouquets with them. LUCK!

I worked at a florist for all of last year and delivered lots of flowers. If you have blue as a wedding color and must absolutely have a real flower bouqet, consider blue delphiniums (these grow in both cornflower blue and royal blue). They are beautiful when combined with white or ivory roses and even make blue irises look even bluer!

I read about the `color wheel` on a wedding website once and it said you should try shades right next to your color, or the directly opposite. I believe that yellow is directly opposite blue and I`ve seen the colors together before (they looked beautiful).

Some good blue flowers are: delphinium, larkspur, lavender (especially "Hidcote Blue" varietal), hydrangea, misty blue (which is light and airy like Queen Anne`s lace). Certain varieties of clematis such as the large-flowered hybrid, "Jackmanii" make beautiful accents in arrangements. There aren`t any true blue roses, but some lavender ones which tend toward blue are: "Blue Curiosa", "Bluebird" and "Maritima" all of which are hybrid teas from South America. "Intrigue" is a gorgeous floribunda which is featured on the cover of this year`s Sunset Wedding issue. Hope this helps!
