Go to one of those gardening stores, or a place like Home Depot where they sell lots of garden stuff, to find things like cute centerpieces for tables.

I am having garden themed wedding in May at a Bed & Breakfast. I am using terra cotta flower pots with gerbera daisies planted in them for centerpieces. I have also found an old wash tub that I am going to use to chill the soda & beer. I am in the process of trying to find a picture of a cake....I have heard of an idea using the terra cotta pots to hold the different layers of cakes. Hope some of this helps. Debbie

My garden theme wedding will be indoors this May, so these ideas may or may not work for you.
Since there will be lots of greenery already, considered taking silk roses and placing them into trees and bushes for that popular "in-bloom" effect. Use anything you think will be cost effective and pretty, for instance: garden statues, a birdbath, topiary, flower pots, a trellis or arbor, etc. Sit down and write down anything that you think a beautiful and relaxing garden should have. Use that list for some ideas when decorating.

I have lots of ideas! I am getting married May of 2005 and I will be doing a Garden theme wedding.
We are going to use white rectangle (long) planters with blooming flowers in them for table centerpieces. We are going to purchase them from Andersons or Lowes or another greenhouse store (a local store that sales plants, trees, flowers...). This will be much cheaper than having arrangements made with a florist. We plan to use plant markers by inserting them into the soil for place cards. We will insert a card into each plant marker. We are going to name each table a plant or flower since we are not having assigned seating.
Our caterer is providing a topiary on the cheese/cracker and snack table. There will be cheese cubes inserted throughout the topiary. So I have decided that I will handmake more topiaries as decoration to set about.
We are getting married at the same location as the reception is taking place so we will not have to transport the decorations. It is an indoor/outdoor location.
Ive also found alot of wedding invitations that have topiaries on them.
These are two of the websites where i found some. They are more casual than normal invitations but personally I like them alot better for my style.
