Wedding Colors??
Hello eveyone Ive been reading some of these ideas and there pretty good I posted a message and it was about my color I want it to be yellow and in the spring and my Fiancee wants it to be silver and in the begining of Sept. So its going to be Sept 3 2005 what colors go with silver because I cant just think of myself its his wedding too. So any help and thanks for anything you can help me out with.

Crystal, its usually the bride who chooses the wedding colors. I don`t think you should let your fiance pick the color. If you want yellow, yellow looks fine in September.
As for what colors go with silver, I would say black, grey, or white. Silver is in the "cool" color family , so ivory won`t match up well with it.

My colors are silver and a deep purple (Victorian Lilac), my wedding is in April. Maybe compromise, you get the spring wedding and he gets silver. I think its great when the guy adds his opinion it is his wedding too, not to be confused with using all of his ideas :-)

Oh, sorry I didn`t see you had picked a date. I think the silver and victorian lilac would go great in fall too. You could use other deep colors and not limit yourself to only 2 I have a lot of deep green accents.

Thanks for everything I think Im not going to use yellow he says he really doesn`t like it and I think I can choose another color that would make us both happy because it is both of our wedding and its nice that he even has any imput on it. So basicly the colors that go with that time of year are deep/dark colors huh???

Ya, I would agree deep colors for fall, but you know if you are having pictures inside 20 years from now you will be looking at the pictures, not necessarily thinking of the season. If you want to go with yellow maybe do something monochromatic with gold, rust, cinnamon, wheat, and other colors in that family.

Silver is a beautiful color. Several color will compliment silver, try Lavender, Plum, Burgandy or Navy.
