We are flying to Vegas staying there for 3 nights then renting a car and driving down the Grand Canyon and staying there for another 2 nights. Then we will stay one night in Sedona and another in Phoenix and fly back home out of Phoenix. I think the total cost will be around $3500.

Sabrina,
We just came back from our honeymoon cruise to progreso, cozumel, and belize via carnivals elation. We had a ball. It was very nice, service was excellent... Only one problem. Kids... Tons of them. This is more of a FAMILY funship not really good for a honeymoon. I love kids I have two of my own but, there were way way too many kids. We could never get into the pools or the jacuzzi`s because there were a million unsupervised kids all over the place running screaming and yelling and taking up the whole pool and water slide. Some of the kids were very respectful of you but, most I`d say 90 % of them were just left to run amuk. My only wish would be if I could have found an all adult cruise. I don`t know if they even have such a thing. Anyway if you have already booked it don`t worry you will have a great time. The kids thing was just my personal opinion so don`t let that hamper your plans.
Take care and good luck!
Michele

Michelle, thanks so much for the update!! Do you think that that many kids will be there in OCt.? I sure hope not. Did you get alot of sun? Should we pack a ton of sunscreen and maybe even a small umberalla?

Sabrina,
I am not sure about the kids in Oct. I didnt think in March there would be many but, I was surprised. Alot of teenagers were on there. YES YES plenty of sunscreen!! We got burned even with 50 SPF on. The sun is really hot there. And another thing definatly you need to buy if you don`t already have is those water shoes. The kind you can wear from the beach to the water. The sand is very very hot. You need something other than sandles. I tried the sandles first and quickly put my water shoes on! ;)
If you need any other tips let me know...lol
PS... Take LOTS of money! lol
