Unity Candle Alternative?

My wedding is in a botanical garden (outdoors) and I think it would be risky to light a candle outside....has anyone else done a unity ceremony without using a candle? Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could do?

I saw a wedding done with coloured sand blue and pink and white to represent the bride and groom and white for purity and unity it was very pretty!
