Hi!!! I would suggest if you want to go with yellow as your theme color, perhaps daisies or sunflowers would be refreshing. Or even butterflies would make a nice accent. Daffodils would be neat too- I`ve never seen that! Whatever you choose though- have fun- my wedding isn`t until Jan of next year- but my fiance and myself just love so many different things- that we`ve decided just incoperate a little bit of everything that we love. The beach, animals, butterflies, etc. And we are even using our two favorite colors- purple and orange!!

Good luck!!!

Are you talking about a theme, or just a color scheme?

You don`t need to have a theme for your wedding, but its nice to have one. It makes the wedding more interesting.

Some people do Walt Disney themes like Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast. Personally I do not care for those, they seem like they are more for children. However, if you like time periods you could do a medieval or renaissance theme for your wedding. Someone else here is doing Mardi Gras. You could also do a wedding around a holiday time like Christmas or the Fourth of July, or Easter. Someone here is having a Halloween wedding. I think its great to have a theme, it makes it more creative and interesting for everyone. People get tired of the same old things at weddings.

With yellow and blue as wedding colors you could use silk or real floral accents like white or ivory roses, Sunflowers, Daisies, Bluebonnets, Delphiniums, Hydrangeas & Iris. This color combo would be great for a Country theme. Make it casual with a western theme using checkered tablecloths and tin cans or galvanized buckets. Make it shabby chic with white or off-white ceramic bowls or ceramic pitchers for centerpieces. See ideas from summer issues of Southern Living magazines. Or go for modern or traditional elegance using lots of gold accents like candelabras or gold ribbons & bows. Tip: Don`t be afraid to use fruit (like lemons) to add color and fragrance to your arrangements. Lemons are inexpensive and would make an interesting theme: serve Lemonade or iced tea with Lemon, have Lemon wedding cake, use small baggies of Lemon drops as favors, etc. Have fun and be you!

Hi. I saw a wedding that had a heart theme w/ yellow and blue for the colors, but everything was themed around hearts, even the roses in the brides boquet were in a heart shape. That would be a good wedding theme.
