Invitations
Is there really an etiquette on putting stamps on the RSVP envelope? I have already sent out the invites without the stamps and an out of town friend commented on this being tacky. Do I plead ignorance or does it really matter?

Jen, plead ignorance. Yes you most definately should have stamped the reply envelope. I would maybe spread the word that you did not know you were to have done this. People will understand that you made the error.

Yes, you should have stamped the envelopes. But the mistake wasn`t done out of pettiness, you just simply didn`t know! Your friend might think you`re tacky, but what`s truly tacky is that your so called friend had the audacity to receive your lovely inviation and make a negative comment about your faux pas. She should have expressed her joy at receiving the invitation and kept her mouth shut about the stupid stamp.
