OVIATT PENTHOUSE?

I was also thinking of having my wedding at the Oviatt next August. Wondering if you got any feedback on your post. I would love to know of any stories you received.

I also had a hard time getting in touch with the contact for the Oviatt. It took her over a week to get back to me, but she was very helpful once we spoke. The tour was interesting, but I was not very impressed. I was just afraid that my guests and I would not be comfortable there. It is a very cool, historical property, but just not exactly what I had hoped. Hope that helps.

I just had my wedding reception there, and it was AMAZING!!!! Our guests couldn`t get over the place, and it was better than we could have hoped. It helped that the weather was perfect.

We had 75 people, and it was a great number. Don`t use this place if you`ve got much more than that - if your guests are crowded, it`s not worth it.

I am about to be married at the the Oviatt on 10/15/05, so far everyone has been very helpful and the site is gorgeous!

I`m getting married at the oviatt this Spring and I went to a wedding there last year. It`s very beautiful and since they do so many weddings it`s pretty much a standard deal. The woman who manages the site isn`t a good communicator - she doesn`t return calls for awhile and she can leave out major pieces of information. You just need to keep on her, but it`s a drag. Everyone else associated with it is great, though.
