Who Do You Invite

What is the proper ediquette when inviting professionals or co-workers (including bosses)?

You can invite whomever you choose; however, some people opt to invite all or none so as to not cause hard feelings. There is no per say etiquette standard on this - just use good judgement. When I got married I invited all management staff and few other co-workers I really like and no one seemed too offended.

I opted to not invite any co-workers, as I felt it could get tricky i.e. Some might get offended if they were not invited. Could cause problems with office politics. I chose to invite only close friends and family members, and left it at that.
