Need HELP With My Registry
How do I tell people where I am registered? Also my wedding is taking place in NV and I live in AK how do I tell them that I would rather have things shipped to my home instead of givin to me? Is there any polite way to tell people this and not sound like a “give me give me gifts”? Or Should I not register at all and just hope for either cash or small items?

Most of the time, the registry cards are placed inside of bridal shower invites. If you don`t have registry cards you can simply write where you`re registered right on the invite. Also, spread the news by word of mouth.

I personally would not put a registry card in either my shower invite or the wedding invite. Let your parents, siblings, & bridal party tell people (when they ask) that you are registered at ABC store. You can then let you store know to add to you regisrty that you are requesting items be picked up at the ABC store that is nearest you. This will not then incurr shipping fees for your guests.

You`re not supposed to put registry information in your invitiations. If people want to know where you are registered then they will ask. If they don`t want to know then they won`t ask. That`s the way it`s always done.

Some registries will allow you to put in any additional information you want to give your guests, so when you register you can specify that you would prefer the gifts to be shipped to you directly.
