Depo - Weight Gain

I`m currently thinking about coming off the injection, I have been taking it for nearly a year & have notices side effects from Weight gain to tiredness. Does anyone know if you lose the weight gained after you stop taking it? I`d liked to plan my wedding but have lost alot of confidence as a result of the weight gain. Can anyone help?

I stopped taking the Depo shot like almost 4 yrs ago and I am still trying to get the 30 pounds I gained from it off. If I starve my self and what not I can get it off but can not keep it off. I swear I`d rather have more kids ( I have 2) at least I can lose the weight from that! j/k

NO KIDDING!! I am still really tired all the time as well. And another pointer, I was told it would take atleast a year to get out of my system the first time I took it, WRONG, it was like 4 months ans since I wasn`t having periods, due to the shot, I was preg. Right away and didn`t know it until I lost the baby and then it took me 2 yrs to get preg. Again, GO FIGURE!
