Romeo And Juliet Wedding
I was wondering if it would be tacky to have a Romeo and Juliet themed wedding in, for example, a reception hall instead of a castle or a cathedral? We have some really great ideas for decorations but I am afraid we do not have the money for a cathedral. I am from Ohio and the wedding will be in Cincinnati close to the Ohio River. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Also my email address is dolfin216@excite.com

Not the slightest bit tacky. A good theme can make it a real memory!

I think it would be unique and different. People get tired of the same old things at weddings, and this would make it more memorable for everyone. You may need to contact a costume company on the internet to get the Renaissance-style outfits to wear.

I am also from Ohio, Akron area. Have you tried looking up Ohio Castles? I think a few of them offer weddings and such at a fairly resonable price. My fiance and I were going to look into but there really aren`t any nearby.
