Kids At Weddings
Ok I think we are going to end up with a good amount of children at our wedding. The ages are are all over the place. At what age do I start counting a child as a place setting? I mean a baby won`t need one but will a 3 year old? Or a five year old??

That depends on how your caterer or reception hall views them. I would definately count them as a "seat" over 2, but as far as paying for their supper, our caterer offers 5 & under free and 6-12 are $12.95 rather than full price of $30 a head. Ensure that you check with your hall and see if they have high chairs/booster seats for the younger ones.

We are having the wedding at a house or rather on a lawn outside a house in a tent. I have not planned on any booster seats or anything like that. I`m really not sure how to accomodate them as far a seating.

Liza, Are you having a lot of people or just a small crowd? You could always by word of mouth ask people to bring highchairs/booster seats if their child requires it. Depends on how comfortable you are asking though.
