The Yes/No Game.... Lets Unstress

The rules are pretty simple!! anyone can play as many times as they like. You simply answer the question that was in the last post before yours then pose your own question for the next person to answer. The only guideline for questions is that they have to be answerable with a yes or no -- you can explain your answer if you wish. Join me ladies and lets have some fun!!!
So here we go!!
My favorite moment of planning my wedding so far has been asking my girls to be in the bridal party!!

Did you have a favorite moment when planning your wedding (ie. Announcing your engagement, picking brides maids, etc)?

Yes, sometime he helps a little too much. He was like a woman trying on tuxedo`s. He didn`t like the way this one looked, and he did like how his butt looked in those pants. It was hilarious! He actulally picked out the bridemaids dress colour. Champagne!

Are you inviting your minister/pastor/priest to your reception?

Yes we are having the preist to the wedding reception (both of them and their wives). However .. We have known the first minister for 10 years ( my FH and i met at this church) and the second minister is my cousin. So they are both invited anyway.

Question:

Both! Actually my bridesmaids were awesome. I chose a neutral colour, Champagne, and then we found the Alfred Angelo mix and match sets and I chose the skirt and all 3 of them chose different tops that they liked best.

Are you having a seperate bachelor/bachelorette party?

Yes we are, but its not what you think it would be. He doesn`t drink and I rarely do so I thought it would be fun to each do something seperate since we are normally conected at the hip and the trust is definatly there. Me and the girls are going to a club called "Lips" its a drag queen show and that way the people who are not 21 could attend.

Did anyone have a problem choosing there maid of honor?

Yes we are: I like to go to the night clubs and dance with my friends till dawn... He likes to stay in and play cards with his (the only dancing he likes is the formal ballroom stuffs that we do together) But we aren`t going out the night before... We are actually haveing our nights out 4 or 5 days before... That way if anyone drinks.. They shoud be recovered for the rehersal and the actual event.

Has anyone had the urge to jump up and down and screme at someone else around you (ie mother or bridesmaid) that this is YOUR wedding not THEIRS??

Jezzabella,
I had a hard time deciding what to do because I didn`t want to go and get totally drunk and do the stupid "normal" stagette stuff. So me and 6 of my girlfriends have rented a cabin in the mountains for a weekend and are going to have a stag/shower there. We can drink at the cabin, or they have good bars there if we want to go out. I`m really looking forward to it.

We are having our reception in the evening in June, but where I live it will stay light until 10:30 pm (we actually can have a 7pm tee time and play all 18 holes!). Is it dumb to have candles lite as centerpieces even though you won`t get the ambiance? Our reception hall over looks a golf course and there is floor to ceiling windows.

No.. It`s not dumb. I have my reception at the golf course as well. There are floor to ceiling windows on two walls of the reception hall upstairs and a wrap around balcony on the same two sides. To decorate the balcony we are using patio torches. It doens`t get dark her until 9:30 as well but i still want then.. Candles should be fine.

Does you have a member of their bridal party that you or your FH are discovering you didn`t really know before or cant stand to be around now?
