I Will Never Buy A Dress At David`s Bridal
I was shopping at a David`s Bridal on 10/25/03 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The wedding consultant (Jennifer) assigned to help me select and try on a wedding dress was rude and completely unprofessional. She insulted me and said that "dresses in plus sizes are hard to find." In additon, I was trying on a dress that was my size in wedding dresses, but she meagerly attempted to help me and said that "this dress is not going to fit you." The area outside of the fitting rooms was a disaster and I almost tripped on a tiera. When I tried to go over to a debris-free area with three way mirrors to get a full view of my dress, she told me that there wasn`t any room over there to look at dresses. I was completely insulted and unsatisfied by my visit to this store!

Just wanted to let CINDY know that Davids Bridal is exclusive- They have a company called Michael Angelo that makes the majority of there dresses. There is a company called DAVINCI that remakes some of Michael Angelo dresses. You should check it out! I hear they are made better too!

I bought my dress at David`s Bridal and also had the alterations done at the store in Harrisburg, PA. I loved all 3 of my dresses....yes 3! The alteration ladies ruined 2 of them and I was forced to get a new dress 3 months before my wedding and again 3 weeks before my wedding. Thank goodness my dad`s cousin was a seamstress because she had to do emergency alterations on my dress the week of my wedding because the seamstress at David`s ripped the lace on the edge of the dress and they took it in 2 inches farther than they were suppose to just to cover up their mistake. The store Assistant Manger and another sales associate were more than helpful with the whole thing, except they still made us pay for each new dress....til it was all said and done my parents dished out about $1500 for dresses and the dress I wore down the aisle was only $900! Oh, they did give me free alterations though...like that was any help.

I purchaed my dress at the Davids Bridal in Cincinnat, OH store (near Kenwood Mall) and all of the women were great! They even stayed open late so my dad could come and give his opinion of the dress. It just goes to show you it is the PEOPLE that make or break the reputation of a store.
