Purple Outdoor Wedding
Hey I am 23 yr old and getting married April of 2005. I am lost and have no clue and am just starting out with the plans. I want a multi purple outdoor style wedding.... For starters...what about purple flowers, like irises? There are also purple tulips, if its a spring wedding. There`s lots of purple flowers, just go to a florist and see what they have.
Also, purple balloons for decorations, that could be tied to the reception tables.

Those sound like great ideas, my only suggestion is to stay away from the balloons. Too children`s birthday party. You could have white linens with purple napkins or table runners. Your bridesmaids could be in 2 or 3 shades of purple. I love the purple flowers too! Mix them with some white and it would be gorgeous. Lilacs are amazing and have a wonderful scent to them too. Oh such fun! Happy planning!

I am taking all the ideas and working very well w/ them to come up w/ what i will love. And no there will not be any Balloons at my wedding. I am wanting an contemporary style wedding so the balloons wont work, However the butterfly idea is a great idea.... I do have to think about the weather since I live in Pittsburgh, Pa you never now what weather we will get ( hopefully nice weather).And yes I always think of the safety of all creatures
