Cash Type Gift?
Hi all you brides out there, I`m going to a wedding tomorrow (3/6/04) and intend to give a monetary gift. Do you suggest cash, or a check? And if I give a check, who should I make it out to?
I`ve purchased a small bridal type picture frame, and want to include the monetary gift with the frame and a card - but I`m concerned if I give cash it may be overlooked somehow (like slip out of the gift while they`re opening it, and then nobody will know where it came from) but don`t want to make more work for them...
Thanks for any feedback you can give, I`ll watch for feedback today. Otherwise, good luck to all out there!

A chq is fine. Make it payable to either the bride or groom.

If I were you, I would definitely write a check. Cash can be easily lost, as weddings are very hectic. If the check gets lost, it can be canceled and you can always write a new one.

When giving the picture frame you could place the check or money under the glass so that if won`t be lost when they are opening the gift. Also if you are crafty you could fold the money or check into a shape or design kind of like origami (sp?) and then put it in the frame either way it won`t get lost.
