My gown is going to be here by next Monday. It is
Brand new, coming straight from the dressmaker hand
Made to fit me!
Unfortunately, I am not going to need it anymore. I am
Going to explain the dress in greater detail to you,
And you can let me know if you are still interested in
Seeing pictures when it arrives...
The dress is an ivory satin hand embroidered with a
Black trellis of leaves down the bodice, on the
Sleeves, and on the back. It is striking, and bold.
The embroidery is beautiful. The dress is rather low
Cut in the front and the sleeves are almost off the
Shoulder (but not quite!). The sleeves are a 3/4
Length calla lily style, which is really feminine.
The name of the Reem Acra dress that inspired this is
Marquis. It is a modern rendition of an 18th century
Classic gown.
I am hoping to get $800.00 for the gown. It is brand
New, never worn and fabulous! I stumbled on this
Message board by accident, I was initially planning to
Post it on ebay...
This dress is sure to be remembered . That is the main
Reason I picked it out. I wanted the people that came
To my wedding to remember my dress. I have attended a
Million weddings and after awhile all the dresses
Blend together.
But not this one! Check it out on the Reem Acra site.
Go to the 2002 Bridal Collection and look for the
Marquis dress. Let me know if you are still interested
After seeing the site. The originals retail for $5300.
